Hand-picked on from low-cropping vines in Rows 2-13 of the Sandy Creek vineyard at Lima South, the fruit was fermented in open tubs over 7 days. The rich scents of autumn fruits, ripe blood plums, with cola tones, carry through to the rich, round palate; matured in 2 year old and seasoned French oak for 12 months, the wine has great length, balanced with grainy but fine tannins.
