A supple and opulent wine, with a rich purple colour and lush flavours of ripe mulberry and plums; the fruit was grown at Timbertop vineyard, a cool and high site on the north western slopes of Mt Timbertop. In 2015 the vines produced a wine with great concentration of flavour and velvety tannins, which was given increased structure and complexity by 12 months maturation in French oak puncheons (30% new and 70% 3-year old).
