A delicious sparkling wine, made with handpicked Pinot noir (45%) and Pinot meunier (33%) from the Kinloch vineyard and 22% Chardonnay fruit from the Barwite vineyard near Mansfield in early March 2013. It has colour of a mid-straw tinged with salmon tones and the wine shows lovely strawberry fruit and yeast autolysis characters; the rich, savoury flavours from the two pinots are given structure and refinement on the finish by the Chardonnay.
